New details about Nintendo Switch 2 continue to emerge. The console, which is expected to go on sale in the coming period, will support Wi-Fi 6 connection. However, there is no support for Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7, which are newer and faster wireless connection technologies.
Nintendo Switch 2 will come with Wi-Fi 6 support
Nintendo is known to take a cautious approach to adopting new technologies, and this may cause Switch 2 to fall behind in terms of wireless connectivity. For comparison, the PlayStation 5 Pro has Wi-Fi 7 support.

Another feature finalised in the device is the presence of a built-in NFC chip in the right Joy-Con controller. Thanks to this technology, which is also available in the first generation Switch models, Amiibo characters can be introduced directly to the console. This feature stands out as an innovation that will make it possible to quickly use collectibles and in-game content.
It has been confirmed that Nintendo Switch 2 will also come with two USB-C ports and will offer charging via both ports. It was previously unclear whether the second USB-C port was only for data transfer or whether it would also offer charging support, but now it is clear that it can be charged from both ports.
When we look at the hardware specifications of the device; It is stated that it will come with an 8-core ARM Cortex-A78 processor, Tegra 239 chip with 1280 CUDA cores, an extra cooling system and a 60W charging adapter. While the product is expected to go on sale with a price tag of 350 dollars, it is expected to be released in the summer months.
