The claims that Samsung will abandon the Exynos brand and give a new name to its processor series have come to the fore again. Similar rumors have emerged before, but the company has not taken a step in this direction. According to recent leaks, Samsung will change its brand with the Exynos 2600 processor, which will switch to the 2nm production process.
Samsung may abandon the Exynos brand
Although Exynos processors power many of Samsung’s models, they have been the focus of criticism, especially due to heating and efficiency problems experienced in the past. In order to change this negative perception, the company plans to offer the new generation processors under a different brand name.

Although the name change claims made in 2023 have not come true, it is said that Samsung may take this step with the new processors to be produced with the 2nm process.
Samsung could not launch the Exynos 2500, designed with the 3nm production process, due to production problems. However, the company continues its preparations to launch this processor in the second half of 2025.
On the other hand, it is stated that the Exynos 2600, developed in the 2nm process, has been put through a more careful process against possible problems in production. According to the allegations, if production progresses as planned, Samsung will offer this new processor series under a new name other than the Exynos brand.
There has been no official statement from the company on the subject. However, it seems quite possible that Samsung will make a new brand change in order to leave the negativities it has experienced in the past behind and make its processors more competitive.
