MSI is officially launching its new high-refresh-rate gaming monitors. The MSI MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 and MSI MAG 272QP QD-OLED X50 models, which the company showcased at Computex 2025, are equipped with Samsung’s third-generation QD-OLED panels.
MSI to launch 500Hz gaming monitor
Both monitors offer a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels and a refresh rate of 500Hz. The panels, which come with a 0.03ms response time, a maximum brightness of up to 2100 nits, and DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification, promise high-level visual quality and fluidity.

The MSI MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 will be the brand’s first eSports-focused QD-OLED monitor. The model, which has advanced software algorithms that minimize motion blur, is priced at $829.
The other model, MSI MAG 272QP QD-OLED X50, draws attention with its AI Care Sensor technology. Thanks to its artificial intelligence engine, the monitor analyzes the image of the environment every 0.2 seconds; when there is no user, it turns off the screen or activates OLED protection modes.
This system aims to reduce the problem of screen burn-in, which is especially common in OLED panels. In addition, with the AI Navigator interface, all AI-supported features can be accessed from a single menu. The MAG 272QP model has not been announced.
MSI will appeal to gamers looking for high image quality with its new models. So what do you think about this? You can share your opinions with us in the comments section below.
