Ubisoft has announced the biggest update yet for its competitive game Rainbow Six Siege. The comprehensive update, called “Siege X,” will be released on June 10, 2025 for both PC and console platforms.
Rainbow Six Siege X will be here
The innovations include improved graphics, modernized maps, new game modes, and many system-level improvements. Following this update, Ubisoft has also updated the game’s system requirements.

Rainbow Six Siege X will offer players two different game modes: “Core Siege” and “Dual Front.” Core Siege supports up to 120 FPS; Dual Front mode will be limited to 60 FPS. Therefore, players will need to shape their system configurations according to their mode preferences.
The Siege X update will seriously transform the in-game experience. In particular, the new 6v6 game mode called Dual Front draws attention with its respawn mechanics, mixed teams where attackers and defenders are combined, and new mission systems.
In addition, thanks to the new communication wheel, players will be able to organize team strategies more effectively without verbal communication. With the “select-ban” system introduced, the strategic importance of each round will increase and a gaming experience closer to the professional esports format will be provided.
