Xiaomi is reportedly finalizing preparations for the HyperOS 2.2 update. Although the official changelog hasn’t been released yet, the update is expected to bring system-wide improvements and some enhancements to the user interface.
The new build is likely to strengthen integration within the Xiaomi ecosystem and introduce a few new features. Xiaomi is expected to roll out the update in China first, followed by a global release. Recent developments have revealed the first devices likely to receive the new version.

According to XiaomiTime, an analysis of HyperOS source code has identified twelve Xiaomi devices that are already carrying the new software version. This suggests that the update is ready for these models and will begin rolling out very soon.

Users can manually check for updates by going to Settings > About Phone > System Update. Until Xiaomi makes an official announcement, it’s worth noting that this information is not yet confirmed.
