Oppo launched the Find N5, the world’s first foldable phone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, in the first quarter of this year. While it’s still early for a successor, reliable leaker Digital Chat Station has revealed the first details about the Find N6. In a post on Weibo, the tipster shared information about the device’s chipset and potential launch timeline.
When will the Oppo Find N6 be released?
According to the leak, Oppo’s next foldable phone with the SM8850 chipset is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2026. The SM8850 model number is believed to correspond to the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor, which is expected to be unveiled this September.

The source also claims that Oppo is aiming for an even slimmer foldable design with the Find N6. The previous generation Find N5, at just 8.93mm thick, was thinner than many flat-structured flagship smartphones on the market.
If the leak is accurate, the Find N6 could become the first foldable phone to launch with the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip. For now, no additional technical specifications for the device have been revealed.
Meanwhile, Oppo is reportedly working on the Find X9 series for the Chinese market, which is expected to include the Find X9, X9+, and X9 Pro models powered by the Dimensity 9500c processor.
Unlike the Find X8 Pro, the Find X9 Pro is rumored to feature a single 200MP periscope telephoto camera.
The Find X9 Ultra may launch in the first quarter of 2026 and, like its predecessor, continue to offer a dual periscope camera setup. This model might use the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset instead of a Dimensity chip.
