Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II entered the Turkish market with a special event held in Istanbul. The new model, introduced in three different versions: Ghost Series II, Ghost Extended Series II and Black Badge Ghost Series II, is preparing to continue the success of Ghost, known as the most popular vehicle in Rolls-Royce’s history.
Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II introduced!
Speaking at the event, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Istanbul General Manager Hilal Aysal emphasized that this special area, located in the center of Istanbul’s vibrant life, was chosen for the introduction of Ghost Series II. Aysal said, “Ghost is a unique automobile that makes the driving experience effortless and enjoyable even on the most tiring journeys. Since its first introduction, our customers have stated that they have prioritized Ghost’s sophisticated engineering, timeless design and flawless craftsmanship.”

Frank Tiemann, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Corporate Communications Director for Central/Eastern Europe and Central Asia, said that the newly introduced Ghost Series II models perfectly fit the different lifestyles of luxury car enthusiasts with three different characters. Tiemann stated that the Ghost Series II has the most advanced technology in Rolls-Royce’s V12 engine models and further strengthens the brand’s claim.
The exterior design of the new Ghost Series II has gained a more modern and simple appearance with the illuminated Pantheon grille and renewed daytime running lights. The renewed LED headlights extending to the edge of the front fenders emphasize the elegance of the vehicle, while the Spirit of Ecstasy statuette appears to be floating in the air thanks to the new chrome details. The rear design exhibits a more harmonious appearance with the renewed taillights inspired by the Spectre model.
The interior design of the Ghost Series II offers a unique combination of traditional handcraft and digital technology. Integrated into the glass panel between the pillars, the new Central Information Display uses Rolls-Royce’s advanced SPIRIT operating system.
This system integrates a range of functions that can be controlled remotely via Rolls-Royce’s exclusive digital members’ club Whispers. The Spirit of Ecstasy clock display in the passenger compartment houses an analogue clock and an illuminated stainless steel Spirit of Ecstasy statuette. When the vehicle is started, the light on the statuette gradually changes to create a special ambience.
The Ghost Extended Series II offers superior comfort by increasing rear passenger legroom by 17 centimetres compared to the standard model. The Black Badge Ghost Series II is a bolder, sportier and more powerful version of the Ghost.
Its higher-performance tuned V12 engine produces 29 PS more power and 50 Nm more torque than the standard Ghost Series II. In this model, when the “Low” mode on the gear selector lever is activated, gear shift speeds increase by 50 percent, while the exhaust sound becomes elegantly pronounced.
Also drawing attention with its new interior design materials, the Ghost Series II makes a difference with Rolls-Royce’s “Duality Twill” rayon fabric made from bamboo. This fabric was designed by taking inspiration from the bamboo grove on the Côte d’Azur and was embroidered with a special graphic inspired by the intertwined “R” letters of the brand’s founders. This fabric, prepared with 2.2 million stitches using a total of 18 kilometers of thread in the Duality Twill interior, emerges as a result of a meticulous work that lasted approximately 20 hours.
The vehicle also uses a special leather weaving technique called “Placed Perforation”, designed using 107 thousand separate perforations on the seats and inspired by cloud shapes in the sky.
Speaking at the event, Frank Tiemann emphasized that Ghost has been the most preferred model in Rolls-Royce history since its first launch in 2011 and stated that they believe this success will continue with the Ghost Series II.
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Istanbul achieved remarkable success by increasing its annual sales for the third time in a row in 2024. Spectre, the brand’s first electric model in Turkey, became the best-selling model in Turkey in its first year, while Phantom and the new Cullinan Series II were also in great demand.
Hilal Aysal stated that the initial feedback for Ghost Series II was positive and that they were confident that the brand’s success in the Turkish market would continue.
