New technical details have emerged about the Xiaomi 16 series. The latest information shows that there will be remarkable innovations, especially in the camera and battery areas. The series, which will consist of the Xiaomi 16, 16 Pro and 16 Ultra models, will have Qualcomm’s new generation Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor.

The camera system will feature a triple 50-megapixel setup. The main camera comes with a 1/1.3-inch sensor. This sensor will be accompanied by a telephoto lens with ultra-wide angle and macro shooting support.
The improvement made on the battery side was one of the most striking changes in the series. It is reported that the battery capacity of the Xiaomi 16 will exceed 6,500 mAh. This value means a significant increase compared to the 5,400 mAh capacity in the Xiaomi 15.
A flat OLED panel will be preferred on the screen side. The 6.3-inch screen comes with very thin frames on all four sides. This design, which aims to provide a more complete experience in visual terms, also increases the screen-to-body ratio considerably.
In terms of software, Xiaomi will launch its new HyperOS 3.0 interface with this model. The operating system will be based on Android 16. This software combination will offer a more advanced experience in terms of both performance and personalization compared to previous versions.
A two-tone back panel seems to have been preferred in the design. It is understood that a simple but modern approach has been adopted in the leaked images. This two-tone structure on the back panel is similar to the design expected in Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 series.
