AMD has officially confirmed some of its desktop processors that have not yet been announced with its latest driver update. The updated driver list includes Ryzen 5 9600X3D, Ryzen 5 9600 and Ryzen 9000 PRO series processors. The processors are planned to be released in ready-made systems in the second half of the year.
AMD will come out with new desktop processors
Ryzen 5 9600X3D stands out as AMD’s most accessible model with 3D V-Cache technology. This model, which has 6 cores and 12 threads, offers a total of 96 MB L3 cache along with the 2nd generation 3D V-Cache structure.

The fact that the processor comes with a single chipset aims to provide significant gains, especially in terms of gaming performance. In terms of technical features, the product is expected to have clock speeds close to the Ryzen 5 9600X model and similar TDP (Thermal Design Power) values.
The Ryzen 5 9600 model was also among the processors that were reconfirmed in the driver. This processor, which has a clock speed of up to 5.2 GHz, 32 MB L3 cache and 65W TDP, was previously offered on a limited basis through OEMs and system manufacturers.
Another striking detail in the driver update was the Ryzen 9000 PRO series. This series, prepared for the enterprise market, includes four new models: Ryzen 9 PRO 9945, Ryzen 7 PRO 9745, Ryzen 5 PRO 9645 and Ryzen 5 PRO 9400.
It is not clear whether these processors are based on the “Granite Ridge” architecture or a different design infrastructure. In addition, the absence of the “G” suffix in the product names indicates that these models do not have an integrated graphics unit.
