Tecno’s new entry-level smartphone, Spark Go 2, is getting ready to go on sale in the global market. The model, which was introduced in Bangladesh a while ago, draws attention with some of the technical features it offers despite its low price tag. Despite its $90 price, the device has features above its class in areas such as screen, brightness and refresh rate.
Tecno Spark Go 2 will be offered to the global market
Spark Go 2 has a 6.67-inch HD+ resolution LCD screen. This screen comes with a 120Hz refresh rate and offers a peak brightness value of up to 1300 nits. The screen’s brightness at this level provides an advantage, especially when used under direct sunlight.
The device also has an infrared module. This feature is among the rare hardware in its segment. The Unisoc T615 chipset, developed with a 12nm production process, was preferred on the processor side of the phone.
The device, which comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, aims to offer basic performance for daily use. However, the fact that the processor has an old-generation production technology may create limitations for some users in terms of energy efficiency.
Camera features include a 13MP main sensor on the back and an 8MP selfie camera on the front. The phone’s battery capacity is determined as 5000mAh and has 15W fast charging support. This battery capacity aims to provide long-term use considering the hardware features.
The device runs on the Android 14 Go Edition operating system. This system has been optimized to provide a smoother experience, especially on low-end devices. Tecno Spark Go 2 targets users looking for a price-performance balance.
