All technical details of Redmi’s new model in the flagship segment, the K80 Ultra, have been leaked. According to information that has reached the public before the official launch, the device draws attention with its performance-oriented structure, high screen refresh rate and huge battery.
The features of the Redmi K80 Ultra model have been revealed
The Redmi K80 Ultra works with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ processor. This processor stands out with its optimized structure for high-level gaming and intensive use scenarios. The phone comes with a 6.83-inch flat-form M9 panel. The screen offers a 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness value of up to 3200 nits.
The panel production is carried out by TCL CSOT and Tianma. The panels of both manufacturers have been combined by Redmi in a single image calibration standard. The screen stands out not only with its image quality, but also with its touch sensitivity and low response time.
The cooling system of the device includes the largest 3D liquid cooling solution Xiaomi has developed to date. This 6500 mm² structure has the capacity to reduce processor temperature by an average of 3 degrees. Direct thermal efficiency has been increased, especially without aiming to prevent performance losses that may occur during games.
High-end hardware is also used in camera features. The rear camera system includes a 50 MP resolution, optical image stabilization supported main sensor. This sensor is accompanied by an 8 MP resolution ultra-wide-angle second camera. There is a 20 MP selfie camera on the front.
The K80 Ultra has a large battery with a capacity of 7410 mAh. This battery comes with 100W fast charging support. In addition, the device supports bypass charging technology to reduce battery heating. The metal frame design, Dragon Crystal screen protection, IP68 and IP69 certifications, stereo speakers and advanced vibration motor complete the physical features of the device.
The under-screen fingerprint reader uses ultrasonic technology. There is also a USB 2.0 input, NFC and an infrared sensor on the connection side. Weighing 219 grams, the Redmi K80 Ultra; It will be available in four different color options: Spruce Green, Ice Blue, Moonstone White and Sandstone Gray. The launch date has not been announced yet.
