New details have emerged about Sony’s new smartphone, the Xperia 10 VII, positioned in the middle segment. Unlike the models it previously offered in limited markets, the company is not aiming to reach a wider user base this time, and is preparing to launch the device globally with multiple variations for different regions.
Sony Xperia 10 VII is coming to us
According to the leaked information about the technical features of the device, the Xperia 10 VII has a 6.1-inch OLED screen. It was stated that this screen will have a 120Hz refresh rate. The previous model, the Xperia 10 VI, used a 60Hz panel, so this change on the screen side means a significant improvement.

It is stated that there will be a 50-megapixel main camera on the back of the phone, and the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset will be used as the processor. On the energy side, the device is expected to provide full-day use with a 5,000 mAh battery.
Sony is preparing to change the limited distribution strategy it followed with the Xperia 1 VII model with the Xperia 10 VII. The Xperia 1 VII was not offered for sale in some major markets, especially the US. However, with the Xperia 10 VII, signals that the company will be active in these regions are getting stronger. This brings the potential to increase the sales volume of the Xperia 10 series.
In today’s world where competition in the price-performance segment is intense, the Xperia 10 VII is likely to attract attention with its screen quality, processor power and widespread access. Although the launch date has not yet been official, leaks indicate October 2025.
