POCO has announced the POCO F7, the most affordable model of the new generation F7 series, for the global and Indian markets. The F7 is positioned below the F7 Pro and F7 Ultra as the entry-level model of the series. So what exactly does the new model from the Chinese brand offer? Here are the details!
What does the POCO F7 offer?
There is a 6.83-inch OLED screen on the front. The panel offers 1.5K resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, and 480 Hz touch sampling rate. The brightness value can go up to 3,200 nits and comes with HDR10+ support. It is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. It also includes Wet Touch Display 2.0 technology, which maintains the screen’s responsiveness even with wet fingers.

On the camera side, there is a 50 MP resolution Sony IMX882 main camera on the back and an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle secondary camera. There is a 20 MP camera on the front.
The POCO F7 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. The company says that this processor offers 31 percent more overall performance and 49 percent more gaming performance than the previous-generation Snapdragon 8s Gen 3.
The product comes with Android 15 operating system and HyperOS interface out of the box. The company promises four major Android updates and six years of security updates for this model.
On the battery side, it comes with a capacity of 6,500 mAh in most markets. However, this capacity has been increased to 7,550 mAh in the Indian version. Both models support 90W wired fast charging.
Other hardware details include IP66, IP68 and IP69 dust/water resistance certifications, an in-display fingerprint reader, dual stereo speakers and Wi-Fi 7 support.
The phone will be sold for $399 for the 12/256 GB model and $449 for the 12/512 GB model in the global market.
