Xiaomi is preparing to introduce its new model in the open design headphone segment, the Open Earbuds Pro. This model, which the company describes as “a new sound experience in the open ear”, draws attention especially with its five-driver structure. With this hardware, the Open Earbuds Pro achieves a first in the open design headphone category.

In the new model, not only the sound performance but also the design and material preferences have been completely renewed compared to the previous version. The focus in Open Earbuds Pro is on ergonomics. The headphones are coated with skin-friendly liquid silicone and are aimed to prevent discomfort during long-term use. In addition, the hook sections of the headphones have been thickened and a non-slip surface coating has been added.

The charging box has also been radically changed compared to the previous model. The glossy and horizontal box of the previous model has been replaced by a new box with a matte surface and a square design. This change, which was made for ease of use, aims to increase portability.
There is a 788 mAh battery in the charging box and the device offers 6W charging support. Each earphone has a 56 mAh battery. Bluetooth Low Energy technology was preferred on the connection side.
The model number of the device is M2503E1 and is listed as “Xiaomi OpenWear Stereo Pro” in international documents. The product has received various certifications such as FCC, MIIT and Bluetooth SIG. The price of the product is expected to be around $110.
