Google has quietly released its new Calendar app for Apple Watch users. The company, which previously entered Apple’s smartwatch ecosystem with Google Maps, YouTube Music, and Google Keep apps, has now made the watchOS version of Google Calendar available on the App Store. The app’s version number is 25.24.1.
Google has launched the Calendar app for Apple Watch
The Apple Watch version of Google Calendar follows a simple line in terms of design. Only one week’s worth of event information can be viewed through the app. Events are listed with time and location information.

In the list view, the days of the week are shown in the upper corner and progress is achieved with a swipe gesture. Google Tasks integration is also provided through this view. However, it is not currently possible to create a new event or edit an existing event via Apple Watch. Users are directed to the Google Calendar app on the iPhone for these operations.
Two new complications were also announced with the app. The first of these is called “Up Next” and can be used in a circular or rectangular format. This complication shows upcoming events and when tapped, it goes directly to the watch app and accesses event details.
The other complication, “Today’s date,” displays the current day and date in a small circular pattern on the watch face. Both complications work well with watchOS’s watch faces and Smart Grouping.
The Google Calendar Apple Watch app is available on watch models compatible with watchOS 26. The app is currently available for download on the App Store.
