Important developments are surfacing regarding Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 series, which is expected to be unveiled next year. As previously reported, the series recently appeared in the IMEI database, sparking speculation that the Plus model might be canceled. However, recent updates suggest otherwise—and even reveal key details about the lineup’s camera features.
Galaxy S26 Plus Camera Specifications Revealed
According to reports shared by WinFuture, new details have emerged about the Galaxy S26 Plus. The report states that the S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra models are internally codenamed NPA1, NPA2, and NPA3, respectively. As known, Samsung used the codenames PA1, PA2, and PA3 for the Galaxy S25 series.

The report claims that the Galaxy S26 Plus will feature a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera. Compared to the 12 MP ultra-wide camera found on the Galaxy S25 Plus, this represents a major upgrade.
Thanks to the new 50 MP ultra-wide sensor, users will be able to capture significantly more detail. Moreover, the device is said to support 8K video recording at 30 frames per second.
Unfortunately, there is currently no information about the telephoto camera of the model. Given that the Galaxy S25 Plus used a 10 MP telephoto sensor, it seems likely that Samsung may introduce a substantial upgrade in this area as well—just as it has with the ultra-wide camera.
