As part of an investigation launched into alleged manipulation of Atlantis Investment Holding Inc. shares traded on the Borsa Istanbul, detention warrants have been issued for a total of eight individuals in Istanbul, Kocaeli, Antalya, and Zonguldak. The suspects are accused of “establishing a criminal organization” and “market fraud.”
An investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office revealed that the trading volume and share prices of certain capital market instruments on the Borsa Istanbul equity market fluctuated in a manner contrary to normal life.

The prosecutor’s statement stated that these fluctuations were harming small investors and creating artificially high prices for some stocks. Investigations revealed market-distorting activities in Atlantis Investment Holding Inc. shares, and an operation was launched against the individuals suspected of perpetrating these actions.
As part of simultaneous operations conducted in four provinces as of July 14, 2025, detention warrants were issued for eight individuals. It was stated that arrests, searches, and seizures of relevant individuals are ongoing during the operation. The investigation was reportedly being conducted in coordination with the Capital Markets Board (CMB).
The Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office emphasized that the fight against manipulative transactions that could harm small investors will continue with determination. The statement reads as follows:
“As part of the investigation launched by our Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office following findings that the trading volume and share prices of capital market instruments traded on the BIST (Borsa Istanbul) equity market were experiencing fluctuations contrary to the normal course of life, and that artificial increases were causing losses to small investors, an operation was conducted on July 14, 2025, targeting suspects identified as manipulating Atlantis Investment Holding A.Ş. shares. Detention warrants were issued for eight individuals in four provinces—Istanbul, Kocaeli, Antalya, and Zonguldak—on charges of “establishing a criminal organization and market fraud.” It is hereby announced to the public that arrest, search, and seizure proceedings are ongoing.”
