Xiaomi will likely feature the same processor as the previous generation in its upcoming Redmi Note 15 Pro+. This decision suggests the company won’t offer a significant performance boost for its new mid-range phone.
The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ will be powered by the same processor as its predecessor.
According to reliable sources, the top-of-the-line Redmi Note 15 Pro+, like its predecessor, the Redmi Note 14 Pro+, will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 (SM7635) chipset. In short, while some rivals are opting for more powerful processors like the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, the Note 15 Pro+ won’t offer any performance improvements.

Leaks also hint at other models in the series. The Redmi Note 15 5G is expected to use a different Qualcomm processor, while the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G is expected to use a MediaTek Dimensity series processor. Xiaomi is reportedly working on the Redmi Note 15 4G and Note 15 Pro 4G models, but no information is yet available regarding these devices.
Other technical specifications of the Redmi Note 15 Pro+, such as the camera, display, and battery, remain unclear. The Redmi Note 15 series is expected to be unveiled this month.
