Lamborghini has unveiled its new model, the Fenomeno, touted as one of the world’s fastest cars. Unveiled during Monterey Car Week, the vehicle was announced as the latest addition to the brand’s limited-edition series.
The Most Powerful Lamborghini Unveiled
Only 29 units will be produced, one of which will be added directly to Lamborghini’s own collection. The Fenomeno, with its $3.5 million price tag, is noteworthy, and its performance figures make it the most powerful vehicle the brand has ever developed.

The vehicle utilizes a hybrid system consisting of an internal combustion engine and three electric motors. The 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine delivers 823 horsepower, while the electric motors add another 242 horsepower, resulting in a total output of 1,065 horsepower.
This figure surpasses the 1,015 horsepower of Lamborghini’s recently released Revuelto. The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 2.4 seconds, 0.1 seconds faster than the Revuelto. The Fenomeno’s top speed is measured at over 350 kilometers per hour.
The Fenomeno’s power-to-weight ratio is also better than the brand’s other models. For every horsepower, only 1.64 kilograms are lost. Maximum torque is maintained at 725 Nm, the same value as the Revuelto.

The performance increase was also influenced by the new battery system developed specifically for the Fenomeno. The 7 kWh battery provides a range of approximately 20 kilometers on electric power alone. This battery is almost twice the size of the 3.8 kWh system used in the Revuelto.
The vehicle features an all-carbon fiber chassis and body. The braking system uses carbon-ceramic disc brakes. The wheels are 21-inch at the front and 22-inch at the rear. The tires are Bridgestone Potenza Sport.
Racing heritage shines through in the design details. The large air intakes on the front hood were inspired by the Huracán GT3 racing model. The body lines are reminiscent of the Essenza SCV12’s long tail.
The Fenomeno name, in keeping with Lamborghini’s naming tradition, was chosen after a bull that was prominent in bullfighting. It was reported that this bull, which attracted attention during a bullfight in Mexico in 2002, was donated for its exceptional characteristics. The word “Fenomeno” means “extraordinary, unique” in both Italian and Spanish.
Although produced in limited numbers, the Fenomeno was launched as a model that would shape Lamborghini’s future designs. Serving as a design manifesto, it hints at the brand’s future direction.
The future of the all-electric Lamborghini model remains unclear. According to the plan announced in 2021, hybrid versions of all models were expected to be released first, followed by the introduction of the first fully electric Lamborghini by 2030.
The Lanzador concept, unveiled in 2023, was originally slated to enter production in 2028, but this date has been postponed to 2029. It remains unclear whether this model will ultimately launch as a fully electric vehicle or with a different technology. Similarly, the all-electric version of the Urus has been postponed. A performance-focused plug-in hybrid version is expected to replace it.
