The Redmi 15 5G comes with a 144Hz display

The Redmi 15 5G was originally introduced in Malaysia a few weeks ago. Now, the model has entered the Indian market at a very affordable price. The phone features a large 6.9-inch LCD panel with FHD+ resolution. The display stands out with features such as a 144Hz refresh rate, Wet Touch Technology 2.0, and a peak brightness of 850 nits. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset. This processor is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.

One of the Redmi 15 5G’s standout features is its massive 7,000mAh battery, which supports 33W wired fast charging. On the camera front, there’s a 50-megapixel main rear camera and an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front. The device, which will ship with Android 15-based HyperOS 2 out of the box, also features key features such as an IR blaster, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, an IP64 water and dust resistance rating, Bluetooth 5.1, and Wi-Fi 6.

The phone, available in three colors (Midnight Black, Sandy Purple, and Frosted White), has a starting price of 14,999 rupees (approximately $172) for 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The 8GB RAM / 128GB storage model is priced at 15,999 rupees (approximately $183), while the 8GB RAM / 256GB storage model is priced at 16,999 rupees (approximately $195).
