ASUS, one of the technology giants that comes to mind when it comes to displays, has introduced a new monitor for professionals looking to express their creative ideas. The ASUS ProArt Display PA278QV Gen 2, combining sharp visuals, smooth performance, and professional-grade color accuracy, has been unveiled. Here are the details and features.
A 2K 120Hz Calman-certified monitor for creatives
The Taiwanese tech giant recently introduced a powerful mini PC and new laptops powered by Snapdragon processors. Now, it’s coming to creative professionals with the ASUS ProArt Display PA278QV Gen 2, a 27-inch IPS panel designed for creative professionals. The monitor boasts a 95% DCI-P3 color gamut and a color deviation of Delta E < 2. It also holds Calman and TUV Eye Care certifications.
The monitor also features a built-in ambient light sensor that adjusts colors based on ambient light. The ASUS ProArt PA278QV Gen 2 offers 2K resolution (2560 x 1440) and a variable refresh rate between 48 Hz and 120 Hz. Ports include USB Type-A ports, HDMI 2.0, and DisplayPort 1.4. Other features include built-in speakers, adjustable height, and VESA-compatible mounting support.
This high-refresh-rate monitor is built for professionals and not aimed at gamers. It’s designed primarily for creative workloads, focusing on color reproduction and accuracy. The monitor is currently available on Amazon for $249. It’s not yet known if it will be available in Turkey.
ASUS is also preparing to announce the Vivobook S14 and Vivobook 14 thin and light laptops, powered by the new Ryzen AI CPUs.
