As the year draws to a close, Chinese Android phone manufacturers are in full swing. As the launch of its new flagship devices draws near, Nubia plans to announce the Red Magic 11 gaming phone in October or November of this year. Leaks that surfaced today claim the Red Magic 11 will be the first IP68-certified device with a built-in cooling fan. Here are the details.
The Red Magic 11 will feature built-in cooling and IP68 certification
A significant detail about the new device has been revealed in a post shared on Weibo by Digital Chat Station. Nubia has been offering built-in cooling fans in its Red Magic series phones for many years. However, until now, the IP rating was only IP54. This was also the case with models like the Magic 10 Pro, 10 Pro+, and 10 Air.

According to the leaker, the new Red Magic 11 will feature an upgraded cooling fan. This will be the first time a smartphone with a built-in cooling fan has received an IP68 rating. This is considered a significant innovation for the industry. This means the new device will offer high-level dust and water resistance.
The leak also hinted at another key feature of the device, which is currently being kept under wraps. The phone is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 (SM8850) processor, positioned as a high-performance flagship. No information is yet available on the device’s other technical specifications.
While the number of models in the Red Magic 11 series hasn’t been confirmed yet, it seems likely that the brand will introduce two models: the Red Magic 11 Pro and the Red Magic 11 Pro+. It would be best to wait for further reports to learn more about the series.
