Xiaomi has announced a new limited edition version of its Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered flip phone, the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2, which was announced in June. Dubbed the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 Diamond Edition, the version was unveiled ahead of China’s Qixi Festival. Here are the details.
The Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 Diamond Edition comes with a premium design
Since its launch, the Mix Flip 2 has been available in four colors: white, purple, green, and gold. With the new announcements, Xiaomi has introduced a special edition combining jewelry craftsmanship with a foldable phone ahead of the Qixi Festival.

The Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 Diamond Edition is a limited edition. The device, which comes with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, is priced at 6999 yuan (approximately $975). It is available in two themed colors: Cherry Red and Glacier White. The device’s most striking feature is the NGTC-certified “Cupid” cut lab-grown diamond embedded in its center bezel.
The back panel features Kona leather with a crocodile texture and a metal Xiaomi nameplate. The limited edition, which comes with the standard Mix Flip 2 features, features a 6.86-inch main display and a 4.01-inch external display compatible with over 500 apps.
Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, the device comes with a 5165mAh battery that supports 67W wired and 50W wireless charging. The camera features a 50-megapixel Leica main sensor, a 50-megapixel Leica ultra-wide lens, and a 32-megapixel front camera.
