The electric car market is growing daily, and manufacturers seeking a share of it are also increasing. Now, Dreame Technology, known for its robot vacuum cleaners, has announced its official entry into the automotive sector, despite tightening production regulations in recent years. The company stated that its first model will be an ultra-luxury, fully electric vehicle that will rival the Bugatti Veyron and will be released in 2027. Here are the details.
Dreame to Produce the World’s Fastest
Dreame will join the speed competition, particularly among Chinese automakers, starting with its first model. According to the announcement, the company has officially announced its entry into automotive production with the aim of producing the world’s fastest car. This first model, powered by company-developed “super engines,” aims to deliver a superior driving experience.
Dreame has assembled an automotive team of approximately 1,000 people for this ambitious entry. Unlike traditional luxury vehicles, the developed vehicle will create a smart ecosystem that will seamlessly integrate with users’ smart home and mobile devices.
The company stated that entering the automotive sector was not a sudden decision but part of a vehicle development plan dating back to 2013. Citing their leading position in the cleaning industry, Dreame emphasized their goal of bringing Chinese-made products to high-end markets worldwide.
Founded in 2017 and based in Suzhou, Dreame currently operates in over 120 countries with products such as robot vacuums, cordless vacuums, and smart floor cleaners.
