Withings has upgraded the ScanWatch 2 with a new operating system, predictive AI health alerts, and a bigger battery. Announced at IFA 2025, the watch now runs on HealthSense 4, offering sharper tracking and up to 35 days of runtime.
HealthSense 4 powers smarter ScanWatch 2 tracking

The HealthSense 4 update delivers algorithms for 35 different health metrics. Step counts are more accurate, while sleep tracking now breaks down stages and respiratory rhythms in detail. Activity recognition has been tuned as well, giving daily insights more precision.
Subscribers to Withings Plus gain access to the Vitality Indicator. This score combines heart rate variability, body temperature, blood oxygen, and activity to estimate energy levels and fatigue.
ScanWatch 2 predictive AI alerts arrive
The most notable change is predictive AI. The ScanWatch 2 can now notify users before health events occur. For example, it can signal the start of a menstrual cycle or flag early signs of illness. While other wearables offer similar tools, it is significant for Withings, which has often positioned itself as a lifestyle brand grounded in science.
New finishes and battery improvements for ScanWatch 2
The ScanWatch 2 also gains two new color options: blue and silver. These are exclusive to the larger 42mm model. At the same time, battery life has grown from 30 days to 35, setting a new bar for hybrid smartwatches.
Price and availability
The ScanWatch 2 launches September 5 at a price of $369.95. Buyers receive a free month of Withings Plus, unlocking the Vitality Indicator, AI health assistant, and Cardio Check-Up, which allows cardiologists to review heart data.
With longer life, smarter tracking, and predictive features, it pushes Withings closer to the top of the health-focused wearable market.
