South Korean tech giant Samsung took the stage again, as it does after every new Apple launch. This time, the company targeted the iPhone 17 and new Apple Watch Series 11 launches, mocking its rival’s lagging technologies. Samsung shared a series of social media posts to emphasize the superiority of its own products.
Samsung Continues to Taunt Apple
Apple’s iPhone 17 launch didn’t escape Samsung’s attention. The company initially criticized the iPhone 17’s 48-megapixel camera. In its posts, it stated that the 200-megapixel camera on its own phones far surpassed this figure. In fact, it stated that even three times the size of the 48-megapixel camera couldn’t even come close to 200.

Another criticism from Samsung concerned Apple’s failure to deliver a foldable phone. It pointed out that its own foldable phone line was a pioneer in this field and has been on the market for many years. This is believed to convey a message that Apple is failing to keep up with technological advancements.
The final blow came to the “sleep score,” one of the Apple Watch Series 11’s new features. Samsung criticized Apple for presenting this feature, which has been available on the Galaxy Watch for five years, as a new technology. This reference is intended to demonstrate that Samsung’s own watches are more advanced in this area.
As usual, Apple remained silent on these criticisms and offered no explanation. Such moves by Samsung demonstrate the continuation of one of the most fiercely competitive technologies in the tech world. This is not only a feature of product launches but also a reflection of the companies’ struggle for market share and technological leadership.
