Samsung is preparing to refresh its budget-friendly tablet series, the Galaxy Tab A. Leaked information suggests the Galaxy Tab A11 and Tab A11+, which will replace the Tab A9 series, which launched in late 2023, are on the way. Following recent leaks, the anticipated tablet series has been spotted in Geekbench tests. Here are the details.
Galaxy Tab A11+ spotted in tests
The Galaxy Tab A11+, model number SM-X236B, will use MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 or 7300X chipset, according to Geekbench tests. This processor is also found in smartphones like the Motorola Razr 50 and Poco X7, and the tablet appears to be paired with 6GB of RAM. It’s also confirmed that the device will run Android 16 and Samsung’s One UI 8 out of the box.

The standard model in the series, the Galaxy Tab A11 (model number SM-X135), will remain at the entry-level model level. Initial leaks indicate that this model will feature 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Images shared on the X platform also reveal that Samsung has adopted a simple, basic design for this model. This approach aligns well with the tablet’s affordable positioning.
While the A11+ offers more performance options, the basic design of both models is expected to be the same. While no official pricing information is available yet, considering the current Tab A9 has a starting price of around $209, the new series is likely to launch in a similar range.
