The screen size of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra has been revealed. According to leaks from reliable sources, the phone will launch with a 6.89-inch display, but this size will be marketed as 6.9 inches.

This size is virtually identical to the previous model, the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The Galaxy S25 Ultra also had a 6.86-inch screen, and it was also introduced as 6.9 inches. This means there will be no noticeable dimensional changes.

The panel itself is rumored to feature surprising features. According to well-known leakers, the display technology will feature new features, but the nature of these innovations is not yet clear. Some of the device’s general specifications have also been leaked.

Accordingly, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will feature a 6.9-inch AMOLED display, a 120–144 Hz refresh rate, and 3000 nits of brightness. The processor will be either the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 or the Exynos 2600. The phone will offer 12 or 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB of storage.

The main camera sensor will be 200 MP, the ultra-wide lens will be 50 MP, and the telephoto lenses will be 5x and 3x. Leaks also indicate a 12 MP front-facing camera. The device, which features a 5,000 mAh battery and 45W wired charging, will run Android 16-based One UI 8. Samsung is expected to unveil this new flagship phone in January 2026.

The emerging information suggests that Samsung is focusing on the internal components, maintaining the existing design rather than making radical design changes for the S26 Ultra. The minimal changes to the screen size and the leaked high-performance specifications reveal that the company’s strategy is based on technological innovations and processing power rather than external appearance.
