The iPadOS 26 update, announced alongside the iPhone 17 series at a recent Apple event, was highlighted by its notable improvements. After being in beta for a long time, the update has finally been released as a stable version. Here are the details of the iPadOS 26 update and the iPad models that will receive it.
What’s New in iPadOS 26
The update, which will be released for devices from the 5th-generation iPad mini to the newest iPad Pro, completely overhauls the interface design. As with every version, issues may arise with the release of iPadOS 26. These issues may include increased battery consumption. However, it’s important to note that this issue is temporary; you may experience these issues for a day or two until the system stabilizes.
