Oppo has officially confirmed that its highly anticipated flagship series, the Find X9, will launch in China in October. The company, which has already launched pre-orders and teased key specs, has already made the phones a top priority. The device’s specifications have also been leaked almost completely. Here are the details.
Oppo Find X9 Series Coming Soon
According to the leak, the Oppo Find X9 will feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K resolution LIPO display manufactured by Tianma. This display is expected to have uniform and thin bezels on all sides. The phone will reportedly be powered by the Dimensity 9500 processor, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. However, it’s rumored that the 1TB variant may remain exclusive to China.

While previous reports suggested a 50-megapixel front-facing camera, the latest leak points to a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The device is expected to feature a quad-camera setup on the rear. This system will include a 50-megapixel main lens, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, and a 2-megapixel multispectral sensor.
While the leak doesn’t specify the sensor models, previous rumors suggested the main camera would be a Sony LYT-808, the ultra-wide lens a Samsung JN5, and the periscope lens a Samsung JN9.
One of the most important features officially confirmed by Oppo is the battery. The Find X9, which will feature a large 7,025 mAh battery, will support both 80W wired and 80W wireless fast charging. For security, it will also feature an under-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
The Oppo Find X9 series will launch in China on October 16, with its global launch expected on October 28. The phone, which has been spotted internationally with model number CPH2791 on certification platforms like Geekbench, TUV, and Indonesia’s SDPPI, is listed on Vietnam’s NBD database. Its listing suggests the global version could come with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
