Samsung achieved great success this year, as in recent years, at the IDEA (International Design Excellence Awards), one of the world’s most prestigious design awards organized by the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA). The company received dozens of awards at IDEA 2025, demonstrating recognition for its industrial design excellence. Here are the details.
Samsung Receives Numerous Awards at IDEA 2025
Samsung earned two Gold, three Silver, and three Bronze awards at this year’s IDEA 2025, along with 39 Finalists. This continues the success it achieved with 45 awards last year.

Samsung’s success in mobile design was crowned with two Gold awards for its “Mobile Design Visual Identity System.” This design concept unifies the different form factors in the Galaxy series and creates a unified visual identity.
Additionally, the “Samsung Inclusive Essentials” design theory, which aims to increase accessibility for everyone, including the elderly and the visually impaired, and integrates sound and lighting into key components, also won a Gold award.
The company earned three Silver awards for its Galaxy S10 series, its smart modular home concept powered by Samsung hardware and AI technologies, and its AI-powered smart building management IoT solution.
The Galaxy S24 FE, its Vision AI-powered home heat pump, and its SmartThings-powered home heat pump were honored with Bronze awards. Additionally, several Samsung products, including the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6, the Smart Monitor M9, and the Bespoke AI Washing Machine, were named finalists in various categories.
