DJI’s long-rumored new compact action camera, the Osmo Nano, has been fully revealed ahead of its official launch on September 23rd. An early listing on an Australian website reveals the camera’s full specifications and pricing. Here are the details.
The DJI Osmo Nano will deliver high quality
At the heart of the Osmo Nano is a new 1/1.3-inch sensor. This sensor is capable of capturing 4K video at 60 frames per second, while also enabling 4K/120fps recording for slow-motion enthusiasts. It delivers professional results with 13.5 stops of wide dynamic range and a 10-bit D-Log M color profile for greater flexibility in post-production.

A dedicated “Super Night Scene” mode has also been added for shooting in low-light conditions. For action-packed shots, the Osmo Nano doesn’t compromise on stabilization. DJI’s renowned RockSteady 3.0 stabilization technology and Horizon Balancing features deliver smooth footage even in 4K/60fps recording. For wide-angle shots, it features a 143-degree ultra-wide lens.
DJI is also confident in the camera’s battery life. The camera is said to be capable of recording up to 200 minutes at 1080p resolution, and with fast charging, it can reach 80% charge in 20 minutes. Other useful features include USB 3.1 high-speed data transfer, microSD card support, and waterproofing up to 10 meters without a case. With the optional Osmo Pod, the device achieves IPX4 splash resistance, providing even more versatile use for outdoor shooting.
Designed for creative content creators, the Osmo Nano comes with features such as gesture control, pre-recording, quick switching between horizontal and vertical shooting, and live preview. Wireless file transfers will also be significantly faster thanks to Wi-Fi 6 support. On the audio side, dual microphones are available via a direct Osmo Audio connection, eliminating the need for an external receiver.
Pricing for the new Osmo Nano is rumored to be €369 for the 64GB model and €399 for the 128GB model.
