vivo has officially confirmed that its new flagship smartphone series, the vivo X300, will be unveiled on October 13th at 7 PM China time. The company is describing this launch as its annual “imaging flagship” event, and early teasers clearly indicate that the main focus of this series will be the camera and design. Here are the details.
The countdown has begun for the vivo X300 series
vivo is taking a different design path this year. The X300 series will feature a minimal, circular camera module. This module, combined with a cool-sculpted glass design that the company describes as a “floating waterdrop,” offers a unique look.

However, what truly sets the series apart is its camera capabilities. According to vivo Vice President of Product Huang Tao, the standard X300 model will feature a 200MP Zeiss super main camera. The X300 Pro goes a step further with an 85mm Zeiss 200MP APO super telephoto lens.
Both cameras feature advanced optical stabilization support at CIPA 4.5 and CIPA 5.5 levels, respectively. They also feature the Zeiss T coating and deep blue absorption glass seen on the X200 Ultra. For video, the X300 Pro will support the world’s first 4K 60 fps portrait video, dual-focus 4K 120 fps Dolby Vision HDR, and 4K 120 fps 10-bit Log recording.
Powering the device will be MediaTek’s new Dimensity 9500 chip. It will also feature the Blueprint V3+ imaging chip, OriginOS 6, and cross-device connectivity with the Apple ecosystem. The display will feature a BOE Q10 Plus display with a minimum brightness of 1 nit.
According to leaker Digital Chat Station, the X300 series will also feature dual UFS 4.1 storage, a 2.0 ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and Sony’s new LYT828 and LYT602 sensors.
In addition to the phones, the Vivo Watch GT 2, TWS 5, and Vivo Pad 5e are also expected to be unveiled on the same day. What are your thoughts on this? Share them in the comments.
