This year, CD Projekt RED is celebrating the 10th anniversary of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and as part of this celebration, several features will be added to the game this year. However, one of these features will no longer be released in 2025. CD Projekt RED has postponed cross-mod support until 2026.
They apologized for The Witcher 3
In an announcement on The Witcher’s official X account, CDPR apologized for the delay and confirmed that it will provide players with more information next year.
In a statement, CDPR said, “We originally planned to release cross-platform mod support for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S later this year, but we are now postponing this feature until 2026. We apologize for the delay and will share more details with you closer to the release date. Thank you for your patience!”
