The Turkish automotive market’s September 2025 sales figures have been released. SUVs and crossovers continued to be the strongest segment of the market, accounting for nearly 63 percent of total sales. The best-selling SUV models for both September and the January-September 2025 period have also been officially announced.
Best-Selling SUV Models
The Nissan Qashqai led the SUV segment in September 2025 with 3,621 units sold. The Dacia Sandero Stepway, one of the more affordable options in the market, came in second with 3,290 units sold.
The Fiat Egea Cross came in third with 2,445 units sold, while the Renault Duster (2,138 units) and Toyota C-HR (2,080 units) rounded out the top five. The top ten best-selling models in September were the Cupra Formentor (1,767 units), Peugeot 2008 (1,717 units), Tesla Model Y (1,664 units), Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max (1,418 units), and Peugeot 3008 (1,372 units).
The overall rankings for the January-September 2025 period saw a significant shift at the top. The Tesla Model Y led the way with 27,420 total sales over the nine months. The BYD Seal U (23,482 units) came in second, and the Togg T10X (22,131 units) came in third.
