Doogee looks set to double down on rugged phones with the Fire 5 Ultra and Fire 5 Pro, both featuring hefty 13,000 mAh batteries and serious durability. The Ultra model brings a few wildcards that might catch the attention of outdoor adventurers and survivalists alike.

Leaked specs show both phones carrying the same core DNA: ultra-tough builds, long battery life, and practical tools for tough environments. While the Pro model sticks to the basics, the Ultra gets a little bolder and brighter.

The Fire 5 Ultra stands out with Android 15, a MediaTek Helio G81 chip, and a 6.6-inch HD+ LCD display running at 90 Hz. Storage lands at 256 GB with 8 GB of RAM, expandable to 2 TB via microSD. But it’s the extras that matter here.

This thing doesn’t just survive, it helps you out in the wild:

    • Dual camping lights with up to 1,200 lumens
    • Triple brightness modes, including SOS signal
    • Reverse charging to power up other gear
    • 13,000 mAh battery for true multi-day use

On top of that, the phone includes a 48 MP OmniVision main sensor and a Sony IMX355 selfie camera.

The Fire 5 Pro dials things back with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage, alongside a 13 MP Samsung main camera. It skips the camping lights but retains MIL-STD-810H and IP69K durability. That means it can take on drops, dust, and even high-pressure water jets without blinking.

Both phones include the usual rugged phone perks: NFC, a programmable button, and a side fingerprint reader. They’re available in three colors: Forest Green, Blaze Orange, and Twilight Gray, unapologetically outdoorsy.

Despite their beastly batteries, the design doesn’t scream “brick.” It looks clean, purposeful, and field-ready.

Doogee’s approach with the Fire 5 Ultra and Pro proves you don’t need to sacrifice utility for survival. When your phone lasts for days, shrugs off damage, and lights up the forest like a torch, suddenly, flashy specs don’t seem so essential.
