It has been revealed that HMD is working on the Pulse 2 Pro, the successor to the Pulse Pro, which was released in April of last year. A new leak reveals an interesting redesign that draws inspiration from Apple’s iPhone 17 series, along with key features like the phone’s battery and chipset.
iPhone 17-Inspired Camera Design
The most striking change in the leaked image is the Pulse 2 Pro’s camera module. The dual camera setup is housed within a raised, pillar-shaped area, which in turn is housed within a raised, almost square, rounded area. This design is particularly reminiscent of the iPhone 17 Pro’s camera setup. Furthermore, the camera bump is expected to be noticeably higher than its predecessor, the Pulse Pro.

The Pulse 2 Pro’s specifications have also seen significant improvements. Compared to the previous model’s 6.65-inch HD+ panel, the new model features a 6.7-inch IPS LCD display with FHD+ resolution. The refresh rate has also been increased from 90Hz to 120Hz. These improvements will significantly enhance the overall multimedia experience.
The Unisoc T606 chipset in the Pulse Pro will be replaced by its rebranded Unisoc T615 (or T7250 in previous leaks). However, like its predecessor, this new processor is based on a 12nm architecture and does not offer 5G connectivity. Users hoping for 5G will need to consider a different model.
Other upgrades include a better durability rating (upgraded to IP54), dual speakers, dual microphones, NFC, and “dedicated buttons.” The phone is expected to come in three colors: Glacier Green, Midnight Black, and Twilight Purple. No release date has been released yet.
