vivo recently attracted attention with the launch of its new flagship smartphone, the X300 Pro, in China. The phone, which boasts features like the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset and powerful camera hardware, has revealed a significant difference in the global version. It has been confirmed that the global version will launch with a smaller battery than the model unveiled in China.
vivo X300 Pro arrives with a missing feature in Europe
Unlike previous years, vivo is preparing to launch the X300 series globally next month, rather than waiting until early 2026, and review samples are being distributed rapidly. Renowned analyst Ben Sin shared a first impressions video comparing the X300 Pro directly with the X200 Ultra, highlighting improvements in performance, camera performance, and overall experience.

The phone’s main focus is its camera system, which includes vivo’s new Zeiss optics, a 200MP telephoto lens, and an updated Blueprint V3+ image processor. Initial reviews suggest the X300 Pro is poised to be one of the best camera phones of 2025.
However, Ben Sin notes in the video that the phone will launch in Europe with a significant reduction. It has been revealed that the global version will come with a 5,440 mAh battery. This capacity is significantly lower than the 6,510 mAh battery found in the Chinese version.
As a result, the new model offers only a small increase of 240 mAh in the global market compared to last year. Aside from battery capacity, the global model is reportedly largely similar to its Chinese counterpart. The phone is expected to be available globally starting at $940.
