The first information about the Realme GT 8 and its more powerful version, the GT 8 Pro, has surfaced online. Both models are reportedly aimed at the flagship segment. It has been revealed that the models will be unveiled in China on October 21st. Leaks suggest that the devices will stand out with both their performance and camera capabilities.

According to the leaked information, the standard model will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The Pro model will raise the bar even higher in performance. This model will come with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. Both phones are expected to offer generous hardware options, including 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. This hardware promises a smooth experience even in the most demanding games and apps.

Realme’s new series also makes a bold statement in terms of display technology. Both devices will feature 2K resolution displays. A 6.78-inch flat OLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate will be used. There are significant differences between the models in terms of camera. The GT 8 features a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP periscope camera, while the GT 8 Pro will feature a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 200MP periscope camera.
The new models will be the first to run Realme UI 7, based on Android 16. Battery-wise, the GT 8 boasts a massive 7,000mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging. The GT 8 Pro combines this large battery with 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The Pro model, which will be available in white, blue, and green, will be 8.2mm thick and weigh approximately 210 grams.
