One of the most notable new developments in the automotive world, the Nissan Frontier Pro, designed and developed entirely in China, has announced that it will soon begin pre-sale.
The new Nissan Frontier Pro goes on sale
This new model holds special significance as Nissan’s first global pickup truck designed, developed, and manufactured in China for global markets. The vehicle will be offered to customers with both a conventional gasoline engine and a high-tech plug-in hybrid (PHEV) version.

The updated Nissan Frontier Pro series will officially go on pre-sale on October 30th. One of the most distinctive features of this vehicle is that it will be the brand’s first Chinese-made pickup truck to be exported to global markets.
A look at the design lines reveals that the plug-in hybrid version has a distinct front fascia compared to its gasoline counterpart. The striking, sweeping light signature at the front is beautifully blended with the brand’s distinctive V-Motion front grille. At the rear, a two-tone floating roof, in harmony with the front design, enhances the vehicle’s modern appearance.
Inside, comfort and technology are seamlessly integrated. The living space is a harmonious blend of a large 14.6-inch central touchscreen and traditional physical controls.
Among the comfort-enhancing details are the Focal sound system, a large panoramic glass roof, 90-degree rear doors that open almost vertically, and a three-stage adjustable rear seatback.
In terms of power and performance, the PHEV version of the Frontier Pro is quite impressive. This powerful powertrain is capable of producing a total of 410 horsepower and an impressive 800 Nm of torque.
The model offers a towing capacity of up to 3.5 tons and a range of 135 kilometers on electric power alone. It is equipped with an integrated all-wheel drive system and Level 2 driver assistance technologies for safety and ease of driving. The new Frontier Pro PHEV, Nissan’s first plug-in hybrid and first electric pickup, will be officially launched in the last quarter of the year, following pre-sale on October 30th.
