The Toyota Supra production is also bidding farewell. Following the Nissan GT-R R35’s halted production on August 26, another legendary sports car is leaving the scene. According to the official announcement, the model’s production run will end in March 2026.
Toyota Supra production ends with a special model
Toyota is crowning this farewell with a special model. For this purpose, the company recently unveiled the “GR Supra A90 Final Edition.” Only 300 units of this special vehicle will be produced. Sales of these vehicles will be limited to the Japanese and European markets.

Equipped with aggressive bodywork such as a carbon fiber spoiler, the Final Edition is powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine sourced from BMW. This engine produces 429 horsepower and 570 Nm of torque. This makes it 94 horsepower more than the standard GR Supra and offers 70 Nm of torque.
However, to tame the increased performance, the vehicle features more powerful Brembo brakes. Power is sent to the rear tires via a six-speed manual transmission. Adjustable KW suspension and an Akrapovic exhaust system are among the other details that enhance driving performance.
Toyota has confirmed that it will revive the Supra badge in the future. However, no information has yet been released regarding the arrival date or technical details of this new model. Signals from the company suggest that the new model may not be fully electric.
