Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 specifications have been leaked by reliable source Digital Chat Station. Qualcomm’s next flagship processor features the TSMC N3P process, custom Oryon cores, and promises high performance.
What are the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5’s features?
According to the leak, the chip is built on TSMC’s advanced N3P process. It also uses Qualcomm’s own custom Oryon CPU architecture, which includes two ultra-thin cores clocked at 3.8 GHz and six performance cores clocked at 3.32 GHz.

On the graphics side, the Adreno 840 GPU is based on the same IP as the Snapdragon 8 Elite GPU, but scaled up slightly. This GPU operates at 1.2 GHz. Early tests show the chip achieving close to 100 fps in the Aztec 1440p benchmark.
Benchmark results are also quite impressive. The processor achieved a score of over 3.3 million in AnTuTu. In Geekbench 6, it achieved a single-core score of approximately 3,000 and a multi-core score of 10,000. CPU performance is expected to be similar to the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
While CPU performance is similar to the current Elite model, it is expected to offer better thermal management and energy efficiency thanks to the N3P manufacturing process. This allows it to deliver more stable performance despite its smaller design. The first phones using this chip are expected to arrive in November or December; these models include the OnePlus Ace 6 Turbo, Vivo S50 Pro Mini, and Honor GT 2.
