As Microsoft strengthens its position in the console competition with its Xbox Game Pass service, it began offering many games free to its users this weekend as part of its “Free Play Days” event. The event, which opened to Xbox and Game Pass subscribers, offered a total of seven different games for free, including the popular Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
Xbox Free Play Days Begin
According to reports, Xbox Game Pass Core and Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can play Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 (Multiplayer and Zombies), Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 (Console and PC), Dead by Daylight, Catan, and Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader for free until November 2nd.

The games available to all Xbox users are Your Grace and Post Trauma. Once the free access period ends, progress earned in these games and purchased downloadable content will continue where they left off if the player purchases the game.
The free games and their access conditions are as follows:
- Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 (MP + Zombies): Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and Essential
- Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 (Console + PC): Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and Essential
- Dead by Daylight: Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and Essential
- Catan: Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and Essential
- Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader: Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and Essential
- Your Grace: All Xbox users
- Post Trauma: All Xbox users
Xbox Game Pass subscribers can access and install these games through the Microsoft Store by logging into their membership. Xbox console users can access the games by going to the Subscriptions section of the Xbox Store and then navigating to the “Free Play Days” section.
