Lenovo Announces Its New Smart Glasses
Lenovo AI Glasses V1 are similar in appearance to standard glasses. With a thickness of 1.8 mm and a 15×11 mm case area, they offer users a wide viewing angle. The glasses are also notable for their light weight, weighing only 38 grams.

The device’s interior features a waveguide-based display capable of up to 2000 nits of brightness. This display can be projected onto one or both eyes, providing stable images without affecting vision quality. Its hardware features also include dual microphones and dual speakers. Control is achieved via a touchpad on the outside of the glasses.
The glasses utilize mobile devices as a source for their functions. The Tianxi Smart Assistant, included in the glasses, enables features such as real-time translation via voice commands, direct voice translation with multiple voices, call management, and navigation.
On the software side, there’s a built-in teleprompter feature that will be especially useful for professionals. Users with Lenovo’s smart ring can use it to control text on the screen, such as scrolling and swiping.
The battery performance of the Lenovo AI Glasses V1 varies depending on the usage mode:
- Playback Mode: 2.6 hours
- Translation Mode: 8-10 hours
- Teleprompter Mode: Up to 4 hours
The glasses offer up to 250 hours of standby time and fully charge in 40 minutes. The Lenovo AI Glasses V1 smart glasses are available in China with a price tag of $562.
