Samsung has added Gemini Nano Banana AI to the Galaxy AI Now Brief feature, turning random photos into daily surprises. This fun addition automatically applies AI edits using ready-made prompts and Google’s fast image model. With this update, Galaxy users can enjoy creative image transformations right from their daily recap.
Gemini Nano Banana AI in Now Brief: What’s New?

Samsung’s latest update brings it integration to Now Brief via the Personal Data Intelligence app. After updating, users will find a toggle under the Content to include section. Once turned on, Now Brief will randomly select a selfie or front-facing photo from your gallery each day.
It then shows a Gemini AI card with auto-generated prompts like:
- Turn this into a cartoon
- Add a fantasy background
- Make it look vintage
Tapping a prompt launches the Gemini app, which instantly edits the image using Nano Banana AI.
How Gemini Nano Banana AI Works with Galaxy Photos
Instead of editing manually, it now automates the fun. Each evening, Now Brief picks a new photo and presents creative prompts. The Gemini app uploads the image, applies the selected effect, and returns a fully edited version in seconds. You can share, copy, or save the result immediately.
While not every result is perfect, the feature adds a lighthearted touch to your end-of-day phone check.
Want More Control? Use Gemini or Drawing Assist Instead
If you prefer a hands-on approach, you can use Gemini Nano Banana AI directly. Open the Gemini app, pick a photo, and type a custom prompt. The AI will apply changes based on your text.
Additionally, Galaxy AI Drawing Assist supports the same engine. You can sketch or write a prompt and let the AI generate polished visuals. This tool is especially useful for concept artists or social media creators.
It Makes AI Art More Playful
This new feature isn’t about perfection; it’s about play. Gemini Nano Banana AI adds creativity to your daily Now Brief by remixing memories with minimal effort. It’s an easy way to explore AI-generated images without needing editing skills or time.
With just a few taps, you can see your gallery photos in an entirely new light.
