German automaker Opel’s new light commercial vehicle models, the Zafira and Vivaro, have been launched in the Turkish market after being produced domestically at the Tofaş Factory in Bursa. These new commercial vehicles, bearing the “Made in Turkey” label, appeal to users with different equipment and chassis options.
New Zafira and Vivaro are coming
The Opel Zafira is produced with an 8+1 seating capacity and is available in two different trim levels: Edition Plus XL and Ultimate XL. The promotional starting price for the Zafira is set at 1,970,000 Turkish Lira. Both trim levels use a 2.2-liter Multijet engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission combination.

Key features of the Zafira Edition Plus XL include double-sided sliding doors, keyless entry and start, a 10-inch digital instrument panel, a 10-inch multimedia screen, an electric parking brake integrated into the dashboard, front and rear parking sensors, a 180-degree digital rearview camera, electrically heated and automatically folding side mirrors, and wireless smartphone charging.
The higher-end Zafira Ultimate XL offers all the features of the Edition Plus plus standard safety and comfort features such as a panoramic glass roof, 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, adaptive cruise control with Stop&Go, a tailgate with an upward-opening glass panel, radar-based active emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control. Opel offers electric sliding doors and hands-free entry as options on both trim levels of the domestically produced Zafira.
Opel’s highly efficient and technologically advanced light commercial vehicle, the Vivaro, is available in two main versions: City Van and Cargo. The starting price for the Vivaro City Van is 1,814,000 Turkish Lira, while the Vivaro Cargo is offered for sale with prices starting from 1,490,000 Turkish Lira.
Manufactured domestically at the Tofaş Bursa Factory, the Vivaro City Van models come in 5+1 seating configurations with a second row of seats, in two trim levels and two chassis options. The standard chassis (L2) Vivaro City Van Ultimate version is offered with a 150 horsepower (HP) 2.2-liter Multijet engine and automatic transmission, and features fixed leather seats in the second row.
The long chassis (L3) Vivaro City Van Ultimate XL also combines a 150 HP 2.2-liter Multijet engine with a manual transmission, and the second row seats are foldable and upholstered in fabric.
Both City Van models offer standard features such as double-sided sliding doors, 10-inch multimedia and digital instrument displays, rearview camera, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, rear parking sensors, high beam assist, and ADAS advanced driver assistance systems.
The Vivaro Cargo, on the other hand, offers business-focused solutions with a total of 5 different version options. The standard chassis (L2) Vivaro Cargo Ultimate trim is available with either a 1.5-liter Multijet engine (manual) producing 120 HP or a 2.2-liter Multijet engine (automatic) producing 180 HP.
The long-chassis (L3) Vivaro Cargo Ultimate XL offers three different engine-transmission combinations: a 1.5-liter 120 HP manual engine, and 2.2-liter engines with 150 HP manual and 180 HP automatic transmissions.
All body styles of the Vivaro Cargo come standard with essential features such as blind spot warning system, speed adaptation system, 17-inch steel wheels and wheel covers, rear doors with windows that open 180 degrees, front and rear parking sensors, 180-degree rearview camera, and cruise control. Double sliding doors are an optional feature on this model.
