Samsung has made a new move that will intensify competition in the smartphone market. Ahead of its highly anticipated flagship series, the company has quietly begun listing its 60W charger on its official websites. This new accessory holds important clues, particularly for the Galaxy S26 Ultra model expected to be introduced next year.
Samsung 60W Charger Specifications and Details
The tech giant is preparing to surpass its long-held 45W charging technology limit. The newly revealed adapter, bearing the model number EP-T6010NBEGWW, has appeared on Samsung websites in European countries such as Austria, Sweden, and Romania, as well as in South American countries like Peru. This new adapter features a single USB-C port and supports Super Fast Charging 2.0 technology.

Looking at the device’s technical details, we see that it consumes a very low power of only 5mW in standby mode. The adapter supports USB-PD (5V, 15V, 20V) and PPS (5-20V) standards up to 3A current. However, it lacks AVS support. For comparison, the company’s existing 45W adapter offered similar current values, but due to voltage limitations, the total power remained at 45W.
Samsung, not compromising on safety, includes features such as temperature protection, overcurrent protection, and short-circuit protection in this new adapter. It is also stated that the device is designed to operate with low electrical noise.
Samsung recommends this new 60W charger not only for phones but also for Galaxy tablets and Galaxy Book laptops. Currently, no Galaxy tablet supports charging speeds above 45W, but this is likely to change with the Tab S12 series. The Galaxy Book series already supports 65W charging.
Industry rumors suggest that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will be the first Samsung phone to surpass 45W wired charging speeds. The release of this new adapter reinforces these claims. Furthermore, the S26 Ultra is expected to reach 25W wireless charging speeds. Listed in the European market with a price tag of 53 Euros, this new charger is only available in black.
