Renault has revived its popular city car, the Twingo, as a fully electric vehicle. The new Twingo E-Tech model, announced last month, officially went on order in France on December 16th. The company detailed the pricing and equipment options on its official website.
Electric Renault Twingo goes on sale
The car retains its compact 3.8-meter hatchback dimensions, while its exterior design combines the iconic lines of the original Twingo, launched in 1992, with modern details.
All 2026 Twingo models come with a wealth of standard features: Drivers enjoy a 7-inch digital instrument panel and a 10.1-inch touchscreen multimedia display. Flexibility has been prioritized in the interior; thanks to the sliding rear seats, the luggage capacity increases to 360 liters.

The new Twingo E-Tech is powered by an 82 horsepower electric motor and a 27.5 kWh battery. According to Renault, the vehicle offers a range of up to 263 kilometers on a single charge. This range is sufficient, especially for daily city driving.
The most striking aspect of the model is its affordable pricing. The base Evolution trim level is offered in France with a list price of €19,490. Thanks to government incentives, this price drops to €14,720. This entry-level model includes manual air conditioning, parking sensors, cruise control, and automatic LED headlights as standard.
The more advanced Techno version is priced at €21,090. With incentives, this price drops to €16,320. The Techno trim includes advanced features such as keyless entry, automatic climate control, navigation, a rearview camera, and adaptive cruise control that works even in heavy traffic.
Additionally, the Advanced Charge package is available for an additional €500. This package adds an 11 kW bidirectional AC charger, a 50 kW DC fast charger, and V2L (vehicle-to-device) and V2G (vehicle-to-grid) power transfer functions to the vehicle. All these features make the Renault Twingo E-Tech the brand’s most affordable electric model by 2026.
