Honor has made the long-awaited announcement for its new gaming-focused smartphone series. The highly anticipated Honor Win series will be officially launched on December 26th. Before the launch, brand officials shared the names of the models in the series and some important details with tech enthusiasts.
Which Models Will Be in the Honor Win Series?
According to the announcement, the series will consist of two different models. The standard model will be called Honor Win, while the top-segment model, previously leaked as ‘Pro’, has been confirmed as Honor Win RT. This naming convention shows that the brand is particularly emphasizing performance and gaming experience.

Honor also shared images revealing the design of the new series. These images confirm previous leaks and also confirm one of the most striking features of the devices: the built-in fan system. A brand official stated that a fanless version will not be released and that these fans can be turned on and off by the user.
Performance and Camera Balance
Lin Lin, Head of Honor China Smart Life Business Department, also gave important clues about the camera capabilities of the series. Lin stated, “Image quality isn’t a strong point, but it’s certainly not a weak point either.” This statement clearly reveals that the Honor Win series’ main focus is gaming and entertainment performance rather than photography.
Furthermore, according to leaks, the standard Honor Win model is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The more powerful Honor Win RT model is rumored to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. These processors support the devices’ promise of high performance.
