OnePlus, while introducing its new 15R model that has made a big splash in the global market, prepared a very special surprise for the Indian market. This device, which stands out with its Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor and massive 7,400 mAh battery, is offered in two different color options worldwide, but it makes a difference with its “Ace Edition” version exclusive to India.

While other regions opt for black and mint green tones, users in India can get the device in “Electric Purple,” which features fiberglass material on the back panel and a special “Ace” emblem.
Technically, this device is actually a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 6T model already on sale in the Chinese market. However, while the Chinese model has a higher battery capacity of 8,300 mAh, the Indian version retains the hardware specifications of the global 15R models.
The only difference in design is in the physical dimensions; The Ace Edition stands out with its slightly lighter and thinner design compared to other color options. Weighing approximately 213 grams and measuring 8.1 mm thick, this special edition promises a more ergonomic experience for its users.
On the software side, the phone comes with the latest version, Android 16-based OxygenOS 16, and offers an impressive 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 165 Hz refresh rate for a superior visual experience.
In terms of camera performance, it features a 50 MP Sony IMX906 main sensor and a 32 MP selfie camera. Launched in India with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, this special edition is presented to tech enthusiasts in the region with both its style and performance.
